PEG- and Aluminium Free Deo Roll-On Formulation #1

This first PEG- and Aluminium Free Deo Roll-On features TEGO® Care APD 18 MB, TEGOSOFT® CT, TEGODEO® PY 88 G, TEGO® Cosmo P 813 MB.

TEGO® Care APD 18 MB is a unique, versatile PEG-free oil-in-water emulsifier with excellent stabilization for state-of-the-art AP/Deo roll-on formulations. TEGOSOFT® CT is a cosmetic ester that is used as an emollient for all types of cosmetic products. TEGODEO® PY 88 G is a highly effective deodorant based on the zinc salt of ricinoleic acid with tocopherol as an antioxidant. TEGO® Cosmo P 813 is a mild vegetable-based cosmetic co-emulsifier especially beneficial in antiperspirant and deodorant formulations. This product is easy to incorporate into a wide range of formulations.

Procedure

1. Heat Phase A ingredients and Phase B ingredients separately to approximately 75°C.
2. Add Phase A to Phase B with stirring*.
3. Homogenize.
4. Cool with gently stirring.
5. Adjust pH to 5.0

*Important: if Phase A has to be charged into the vessel first, Phase B must be added without stirring.

 

Formulation #2

TEGO® Care APD 18 MB is a unique, versatile PEG-free oil-in-water emulsifier with excellent stabilization for state-of-the-art AP/Deo roll-on formulations. TEGOSOFT® AC is a very light emollient, fully based on renewable sources.

Procedure

1. Heat Phase A ingredients and Phase B ingredients separately to approximately 75°C.
2. Add Phase A to Phase B with stirring*.
3. Homogenize.
4. Cool with gently stirring and add Phase C below 35°C.
5. Add Phase D and stir.

*Important: if Phase A has to be charged into the vessel first, Phase B must be added without stirring.

 

Formulation #3

TEGO® Care APD 18 MB is a unique, versatile PEG-free oil-in-water emulsifier with excellent stabilization for state-of-the-art AP/Deo roll-on formulations. TEGOSOFT® P is a light emollient with medium spreading properties and high refatting characteristics. It is a good solubilizer for oil-soluble active ingredients.

Procedure
