Toning Butter
Toning Butter – A rich body butter which due to the inclusion of Maisita 9040 – corn starch, a much lighter skin feel is achieved as it modifies the feel of oils and butters.
This formulation also contains Maisita 9060 that is used after emulsification/hot processing (below 40C) for aesthetic modification (feel, tack reduction, etc). Also, it is added to the water phase prior to heating, to provide thickening and rheology modification to the formula. This ingredient improves skin feel, reduces greasiness and stickiness of emulsions, and provides a mattifying effect.
